FC Dynamo Kyiv hosted FC Metalist Kharkiv in the UPL matchday 8 postponed game. It was the final game of the year for Kyivans.
Mircea Lucescu’s men succeeded 3:0. Buialskyi and Vanat scored in the first half while Tsyhankov increased the lead after the break.
Dynamo were more active and fast early in the game and created promising opportunities, but couldn’t convert those into goals for a while.
In the 20th minute home side opened the score. Dynamo won a free kick and Buialskyi sent the ball into the net accurately from 23-meter distance. This is his 10th domestic league goal of the season.
Less than in 10 minutes our team doubled the score. Klymenchuk tied to clear the ball after corner, but hit Vanat – 2:0. Right after that the White-Blues had more opportunities. Tsyhankov hit the wall with a free kick and then Vanat didn’t succeed from close range.
Buialskyi had another chance in the first half, but his shot from inside the penalty area was blocked.
The second half was similar. Dynamo mostly attacked. Kedziora aimed at the far corner from distance, but keeper parried.
Vivcharenko joined the attack in the left side after cross from Lonwijk, but his own attempt to cross wasn’t really accurate. In the opposite half, Kapliyenko tried to hit the near corner, but Bushchan was there.
Dynamo responded more than confidently. Kedziora put a low cross to Tsyhankov and Viktor made it 3:0 with one-touch strike.
