FC Dynamo Kyiv hosted FC Kolos Kovalivka in the Ukrainian Premier League matchday 27 game.
Visitors didn’t really have any scoring opportunities in the first half while home side mostly created danger after set pieces. Brazhko took a free kick, but sent the ball over the bar. Popov attempted with a header after corner, but missed too.
Dynamo had their best chance in the first half in the 29th minute. After cross from the corner flag there was a mess in Kolos penalty area, Yarmolenko attempted from close range, but Kovalivka side players managed to clear the ball.
In the 36th minute Shaparenko almost used the mistake of Kolos defender inside the box, the ball rebounded to Yarmolenko, but goalkeeper was there.
Later the White-Blues had another great chance. Vivcharenko crossed into the penalty area to Yarmolenko, Andrii found Voloshyn, Nazar passed to Karavayev, but Oleksandr’s shot was blocked.
As much as Dynamo couldn’t score in the first half, they succeeded early in the second one. In the 48th minute Shaparenko took a free kick, put a cross into the box and Kolos defender Bondarenko sent the ball into his own net – 1:0.
In a few minutes Kyivans increased their lead. Brazhko found Yarmolenko with an accurate pass and Andriy hit the corner with his right – 2:0.
The following Dynamo attack was a success as well. Shaparenko rushed into the penalty area from the left side, passed towards the center and Buialskyi netted it from close range – 3:0.
The White-Blues kept attacking and scored again halfway through the second half. Voloshyn found Shaparenko, Mykola passed to Kabayev and Vladyslav shot past the keeper – 4:0.
The fifth goal was scored in the 71st minute. Karavayev crossed from the right side, Buialskyi let the ball reach Voloshyn and Nazar made it 5:0.
After that Dynamo gaffer made a number of substitutions, bit the score didn’t change anymore. So, Dynamo win and keep hoping Shakhtar lose points.
