FC Dynamo Kyiv hosted FC LNZ Cherkasy in the Ukrainian Premier League matchday 23 game.
Vanat attempted with a header after corner in the 2nd minute, but the ball went over the bar.
In the 15th minute the score was opened. Shaparenko dispossessed his opponent in the midfield, passed to Vanat, Vladyslav found Yarmolenko and Andriy sent the ball over the keeper – 1:0.
The White-Blues continued creating chances. Brazhko shot from close range after cross from Vanat, but goalkeeper parried. Vanat attempted from a tight angle.
Visitors barely created any danger, but still managed to equalize 40 minutes into the game. Rybalka took a corner, Neshcheret didn’t manage to grab the ball and Salihu hit the open goal – 1:1.
After the break Dynamo kept attacking. The White-Blues tried putting lots of crosses, but defenders and goalkeeper coped with that. Vanat did another header after cross from Tymchyk, but that wasn’t a dangerous one.
LNZ tried to counterattack whenever they could. Soares had a chance after pass from Khoblenko, but Neshcheret was there.
Dynamo were gradually increasing the pressure. The shot by Shaparenko was blocked. Later in the game another forward took the field – Ponomarenko. Vanat had an opportunity in a stoppage time as he eluded two opponents, but didn’t manage to send the ball past the goalkeeper.
So, it’s 1:1 which means Dynamo stay in the third place in the league table with four points behind Shakhtar.
