On Saturday, April 8, FC Dynamo Kyiv hosted FC Mynai in the Ukrainian Premier League matchday 20 game.
Dynamo took the situation on the field under control right away aiming on target and looking for ways to the goal. Sydorchuk and Benito missed while Mynai keeper parried the shots by Dubinchak, Shepelev and Vanat. Lonwijk attempted spectacularly after corner, but hit the crossbar.
Anyway, the White-Blues managed to succeed before the break. Lonwijk tried to shoot after pass from the right side, but didn’t do it properly and thus the ball reached Tsarenko, who sent it into the corner thus scoring his first goal for Dynamo.
This goal boosted Dynamo confidence. Eventually they increased their lead in the 62nd minute. Shepelev found Vanat with an accurate pass, our forward entered the penalty area and hit the far corner – 2:0.
Mynai got more active afterwards, but Dynamo defense and goalkeeper did a good job.
So, it’s 2:0 for the White-Blues.
