FC Dynamo Kyiv faced FC Kolos Kovalivka away in the Ukrainian Premier League matchday 12 game.
Dynamo suffered two defeats in two previous games, so had no room for mistake this time. Kolos didn’t want to lose points either as they ceased the seven-match winless streak only in the previous game.
Both sides started aggressively. Diego missed from unpromising angle while the White-Blues used practically their first opportunity. Karavayev found Tymchyk inside the penalty area and Olexandr hit the target – 0:1.
After that Dynamo let Kolos seize the initiative, but home side didn’t create a lot. Probably their only chance before the break happened as Demchenko attempted after corner, but Bushchan reached the ball.
Anyway, home side equalized early in the second half. Milko crossed from the left side, Luchkevych obtained the ball and hit the upper V with a great strike – 1:1.
In a few minutes Tymchyk put a low cross to Karavayev, but Olexandr hit the crossbar from close range. Dynamo increased the pressure, but in the 63rd minute Vanat let the team down as he got his second booking of the game for diving.
Visitors aimed to grab the winner, but Kolos had more chances for that. Bushchan parried the free kick by Miakushko, for instance.
So, it’s 1:1 – Dynamo winless streak makes three games. On November 3 the White-Blues will face FC Shakhtar Donetsk.
