FC Dynamo Kyiv faced FC Metalist 1925 Kharkiv in the 2022/2023 Ukrainian Premier League final, 30th, matchday.
Dynamo had a pretty good attack in the 16th minute as Vladyslav Kabayev crossed into the penalty area, but Metalist 1925 defender Kurylo cleared the ball.
19 minutes into the match Kabayev won a penalty for the White-Blues as Zhychykov fouled against him inside the box and Ramirez hit the corner accurately from the spot – 0:1!
In the 32nd minute Syrota attempted from distance while Kharkiv side responded with a long ball to Ostrovskyi. He was almost one-on-one with Bushchan when Diachuk fouled and got a red card.
Metalist 1925 equalized in a few minutes. Habelok played one-two with Ostrovskyi and sent the ball into the net from outside the penalty area – 1:1.
Dynamo had to substitute Vladyslav Kabayev with Anton Bol to replace Diachuk.
Karavayev attempted with a volley from distance in the 56th minute, but the ball went way over the crossbar.
In the 62nd minute Ostrovskyi appeared in a promising position after decent attack, but missed.
72 minutes into the match Karavayev had an opportunity after a bit of mess inside the home side penalty area, but sent the ball wide.
Right before the stoppage time the lineups became even as Habelok got his second booking – for the foul against Tymchyk.
Anyway, it’s 1:1. Dynamo finish the UPL season 4th.
