Vitalii Buialskii: «The positive is that we scored one more goal and won»

Dynamo Kyiv midfielder Vitalii Buialskii, who scored one of six goals against Kryvbas, shared his impressions of the incredible away match and Dynamo’s 6:5 victory on UPL TV.

- It was a crazy match 11 goals scored. What are your impressions after the game?

- Impressions are mixed — I feel both positive and negative emotions. Dynamo should not concede that many goals. But the positive is that we managed to score one more and win.

- Your appearance on the pitch turned out to be productive. What did the coach tell you before coming on? What were your thoughts when entering the game, given the difficult situation?

- When I came on, the team was trailing. The coach told me to play more forward, stay in the box, create chances and try to score goals.

- Can this be called one of the craziest matches of your career? Do you remember similar games?

- Yes, I remember a match against Zorya: we were leading 3:0, then it became 3:3, later we were losing 3:4, and it eventually ended 4:4. But today’s match is definitely one of the most emotional ones.

- In all your matches against Kryvbas your team has won. Did you pay attention to that statistic before the game?

- No, I don’t really look at statistics. That’s more for analysts and coaches. For me as a player what matters is how the opponent plays, how our team performs and how individual players act. I focus more on that.

- Near the end of the match it looked like you had cramps and were physically struggling. Did you manage to recover after the cup game?

- I didn’t have cramps. I just felt discomfort in my hamstring in one moment so during the game I slightly stretched the muscle to make it feel better.
