Vladyslav Kabayev has shared his impressions of the game against Shakhtar with UPL.TV:
- I don’t say we’re totally satisfied with the final score, but respect to the team for the second half, for that dedication. We didn’t use a lot of chances. The first goal we conceded was the result of childish mistake. Things got tough after that, but teams like Dynamo can’t just fall apart when things get rough.
- What happened in the locker-room after the first half?
- I hadn’t seen our coach so angry before. It was a rough conversation. Yarmolenko was also mad. We took the field with great desire to win after that. We believed till the utmost that we can even score the third one, but the equalizer happened too late.
- Wasn’t it one of the most emotional goals in your career?
- I guess it was, although it wasn’t the most spectacular one. I hadn’t scored against Shakhtar before. I really wanted to and God helped me. This goal is like a breath of fresh air for me. I always say that I need to score more. We discuss that with the coach. He told me to shoot more frequently and I did.
- What did you think of when you hit the post?
- I was devastated, but not desperate. I knew that the team would have another chance.
- Can Dynamo celebrate the title already?
- No. Everyone says Shakhtar are our major opponent, but let’s not forget about Oleksandria. They do really well.
