The Dynamo winger commented on the match against Kolos in Kovalivka live on FootballHub.
– Vladyslav, what is happening with the team?
– I don’t know what’s happening… We’re losing, you can see it yourselves… I won’t tell you anything new. We’re also disappointed with this result, with this quality of play and with such childish mistakes. I’m not going to say now that we played well today, created a lot of chances but didn’t finish them. The score is on the scoreboard. There is a lot of criticism now and it’s justified. Right after the game emotions are negative. But first of all there should be fewer words from us and more actions.
– It’s not the first time that you and Voloshyn switch wings often. Is this the coach’s instruction or something situational?
– It happens during the match. He’s comfortable playing both on the right and left flank and so am I. After set pieces we could switch. The main thing is not to play beautifully but to play effectively. And right now there is very little efficiency.
– Today you created more chances than usual but what was missing?
– I can say now that we created a lot of good scoring opportunities. But who cares when you lose? Yes, we created many chances but without finishing – there are no goals. With this kind of play, if we had scored our chances, tomorrow everyone would be saying: “Dynamo are in good form, well done.” But when you lose everyone understands what will be said today or tomorrow. We hear this criticism, we take it in, we’re not flying in the clouds. We understand that we deserve it. But we must go out for this crest and “bite the ground.” If there is no quality in the game right now, we must show courage. I can’t say there was no desire or courage but we lost many second balls and duels. Kolos deserved this win today. I congratulate them. But, believe me, sooner or later Dynamo will show themselves again. Of course, now there is a lot of sadness, a lot of negativity but I believe things will get better.
– In some moments it seemed that Kolos were playing too aggressively… What did it feel like on the pitch?
– That’s how it felt to us too. They won more duels. But the main thing is to win second balls and we lost them – I didn’t run enough, someone else didn’t run enough and that leads to a goal-scoring chance. There is a lot to work on. I always say: there is no limit to perfection.
