FC Dynamo Kyiv forward Vladyslav Vanat, who scored the decider against SC Dnipro-1, has shared his impressions of the game with FootballHub.
- We’ve won a very important game. After halftime speech from Yarmolenko we couldn’t help but win.
- Did that kickstart the team?
- Yes, we scored and started creating more chances.
- After the red card for Tymchyk Dynamo rushed towards referee explaining there was a foul against Brazhko inside the box before that?
- Yes, our whole team though it was a foul.
- But Dnipro-1 continued playing…
- Referee said he would check the episode then the ball is out. Tymchyk kicked it behind the line, but referee said to play on. I don’t know... I won’t comment upon refereeing.
- It seems your games against Dnipro-1 are always intense.
- That’s true. They have a decent team, decent players. I’m really glad we won today.
- After the break you played in the right side. Was that comfortable for you?
- I was playing in the right side only as we defended. Generally we played with two forwards. Of course I feel more comfortable as a striker.
- Dnipro-1 had three center backs. Did that surprise you?
- I wouldn’t say they had three center backs. Adamiuk was mostly playing in the right side.
- Dynamo have no room for mistake and it was absolutely clear you needed only victory…
- That’s right. I’m looking forward to Shakhtar match in Dnipro. And I actually hope it takes place in Dnipro.
- Is this important to you?
- Well it’s just that some teams sometimes play not in their cities though they are supposed to play at the home ground. But for some reasons they play where it’s more comfortable for another team.
- The night and the morning in Dnipro weren’t calm at all…
- I didn’t hear that. We had a long trip, so I was sleeping tightly. When the explosions were heard I was in the elevator.
