On Tuesday, September 9, the Ukraine U17 youth team (players born no earlier than 2009) played their final match at the international tournament in Croatia.
Their opponents were the UAE national team. As with previous teams, the opponents were a year older than the Ukrainian players. Following a defeat to Qatar U18 (1:2) and a draw with Poland U18 (2:2), the "Yellow-Blues" suffered another loss, conceding twice in the first half and once more during injury time at the end of the second half.
Three Dynamo Kyiv representatives were involved in the match. Goalkeeper Dmytro Pozhar and defender Matviy Sorochynskyi started the game (the defender played the first half) while forward Yaroslav Buravtsov came on right after the break.
