Still last time Kirovohrad side opposed the White-Blues main squad 10 years ago – in 2003/2004 season. That year they relegated to Ukrainian First League and never came back.
Dynamo faced Zirka 12 times in Premier League. Kyivans won 11 games while Zirka – only one. That happened on June 5 1996. Goal difference is 39:7 for the White-Blues.
Kyivans also outplayed Kirovohrad side within the Ukrainian Cup twice.
Dynamo head coach Serhiy Rebrov netted six goals against Zirka when a player, Andriy Shevchenko – five, Olexandr Khatskevych, Yuriy Kalytvyntsev and Dmytro Mykhailenko – four each.
