The 2007/2008 Ukrainian Cup final, unlike in previous years, is to be held in Kharkiv at the Metalist Stadium this year. The match is scheduled for May 7, 2008.
The NSC Olimpiyskyy, which used to host all the national Cup finals all the way from 1992, is planned to be closed for reconstruction.
Dynamo will vie for its tenth trophy this year. Nine-time Cup holder, the Kyiv team won Dnipro 2-0 and IhroServis 4-1 in the Round of 32 and Round of 16 respectively and was drawn against Tavriya Simferopol in a quarter-final to be played Dec 5 and Dec 8.
