UPL matchday 21. Tavria – Dynamo: preview

Dynamo: to feel the joy of football again

FC Dynamo Kyiv only aim this season is to struggle for Premiership. Kyivans are lacking only five points behind FC Shakhtar Donetsk.

This year Oleh Blokhin’s men had two training camps in Spain after which they faced Valencia CF within the Europa league round of 32.

After that Dynamo were to play against Shakhtar and FC Chornomorets Odesa within the UPL, but these matches have been postponed.

It wasn’t also clear whether the White-Blues game against SC Tavria Simferopol would take place, but fortunately all problems have been solved.

During the long pause Kyivans worked at their training complex in Koncha-Zaspa. They also played a friendly against FC Hoverla Uzhhorod there (3:1).

According to Dynamo head coach Oleh Blokhin our performers are in good physical conditions.

Players miss football already.

As for injured performers, they are Olexandr Shovkovskyi and Vladyslav Kalytvyntsev.

Tavria: to return the ship to safe heading

At the moment SC Tavria Simferopol are 15th in the UPL standings with eight points. After the first part of the season Bulgarian coach Nikolay Kostov took charge of the team.

He stated that Tavria aim is to secure the place in Premier League.

During the winter break Simferopol side had three training camps. The last one took place in Belek, where Kostov’s men won two friendlies – against FC Oktan Perm (4:0) and Vendsyssel (2:1).

So we are looking forward for Sunday evening when both teams take the field of the NSC Olimpiyskyi at 19.30.
