- I’m able to play on 3 or 4 attacking positions. The more often I’ll try, the better I’ll do that.
- So do you fool more comfortable as a striker or as midfielder?
- The best position for me is the position of the second striker or classic “10”.
- What difficulties were there for you in the match against FC Basel 1893 and why didn’t you manage to score?
- The pace was rather high. Basel is a good team which also plays in Europa League. I had some chances to score but I didn’t use them. Still I after my pass Niko Kranjcar scored. And I’ll try to score next time.
- Tell us about the attack when Niko scored.
- I got the ball faster than the defender and passed to Kranjcar. He scored a good goal.
- Is it the result of work during training sessions?
- Yes, we work really hard these days. That’s why we look tired sometimes.
- You played against FC Basel 1893 very often when you were the footballer of FC Zurich. Did you feel anything special emotions before the match?
- Matches against Swiss teams are always special for me as I have a lot of friends there. On Saturday we’ll play against another Swiss club FC Luzern.
- How many footballers of FC Basel 1893 do you know?
- I have friendly relations with 10-12 guys.
- The first training camp is almost over. How do you feel?
- Fine. Here we have very good conditions for work. Sometimes it’s difficult to spend much time in the hotel room but still we try to do our best.
- Were training camps in FC Zurich different?
- They were almost same.
- How different are training sessions with Oleh Blokhyn and with Yuryi Semin?
- They are more difficult now. Oleh Blokhyn wants us play faster, using counterattacks.
- What are your physical conditions now? Are you able to do better?
- We are people, not robots and we can’t work non-stop. But we completely trust our coaches and do what they tell us to.
