- Several European teams wanted to sign you. Why did you choose Dynamo?
- Everyone knows that Dynamo were one of the best teams of the former USSR. I’m glad to have moved to Kyiv. The White-Blues have great infrastructure.
- Do you know about the limit for foreign players in UPL?
- Sure, I do. I’m ready to struggle for the place among first eleven. Anyway first of all I want my new team to win the UPL, no matter who will tale the field.
- Playing for Basel you faced FC Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk within the Europa League. Did those games help you realize how good UPL is?
- I realized that the level of UPL is higher than of Swiss Super League.
- Did you know any Dynamo players before your move to Kyiv?
- I faced some of them as Austria played friendly against Ukraine. Besides I got acquainted with Yarmolenko and Khacheridi during the training camp in Spain.
- Tell about the most memorable moment of your career.
- Once I slapped some man on his head during victory ceremony. Later he became the president of Switzerland.
- Tell about the red card you got as Basel faced Servette FC.
- I made a bet with Basel assistant coach that I would manage to score header. I scored twice and showed him obscene sigh jokingly. Referee thought that I addressed this sign to fans and suspended me.
- What match was the most memorable in your career?
- It was my first cap for Austria national team as we faced Serbia.
- What would you have taken to the uninhabited island?
- Ball, best friend and Berislav Stanoevic.
- What “trump cards” do you have comparing to other Dynamo center backs?
- We have great competing within the team. All center backs are good players. Only the head coach can decide who will be the first team regular.
- Will it be more comfortable for you to play together with Vida or with Khacheridi?
- Unfortunately Vida has picked up injury and I haven’t had training sessions with him yet. No matter who will play, Dynamo wins are top priority.
- What did you know about Dynamo fans? Did you feel their support in Donetsk?
- I knew that Dynamo have great supporters. I liked their support in Donetsk. We play for them first of all.
- What can you tell about Ukrainian women?
- There are a lot of beautiful women in Kyiv. Still I’m totally focused on football.
- What is your opinion about Ukrainian refereeing?
- What I saw in Donetsk made me think that referee had a fellow feeling for Shakhtar. I hope that it was the exception to the rules.
- Do you like the NSC Olimpiyskyi?
- It’s one of the best stadiums I’ve ever seen.
- Do you like Dynamo new away kit?
- Yes, I do.
- What trophy do you want to win with Dynamo?
- I want to win all possible trophies!
- Are you ready to make your Debut for Dynamo on August 11?
- I’m ready to make my debut for Dynamo both physically and mentally.
