- Are participants of this tournament the best teams you players have faced so far?
- If you consider only their names, I guess they are, but in youth football names doesn’t mean anything. Sometimes teams from provincial towns are better than trainees of famous clubs. That’s why it’s hard to say how good our opponents are.
- Are you impressed with reception arranged for Dynamo by local authorities?
- Sure, the reception was great. We have everything we need to get ready for games. I hope we’ll demonstrate worthy football.
- Are you satisfied with performances of your team at international tournaments this year?
- As for tournaments in Qatar and Minsk, they were a kind of part of the training process. They were beneficial in terms of preparations for the season. The contest in Turkey was really good. We faced worthy Turkish, Belgian and Spanish teams.
- You are to play five-six games within a few days. How difficult is that for boys?
- We’ll give all our performers a chance to play. They’ll get equal amount of game practice, so there won’t be excessive exercise load.
- Do you aim to win the tournament?
- Well, we haven’t seen what our opponents are capable of so far. Really good teams from all over the world have come here. First of all our task is to demonstrate worthy football and to show everyone that Dynamo academy works effectively. Anyway, of course we’ll try to succeed.
- Do you agree that in youth football FC Dynamo Kyiv are as famous as AFC Ajax, Chelsea FC and FC Barcelona?
- If we weren’t good enough, they wouldn’t invite us to such competitions. That’s beneficial not only for players, but also for reputation of Ukraine and Ukrainian football.
