- The domestic league and national cup will show whether it was a success. We’ve done the job we planned. Friendlies we’ve played were really decent. The training camp was important, but it’s just a foundation. The work goes on.
- Dinamo Tbilisi are also about to start the domestic league. Were they your best opponent at the training camp?
- They’ve demonstrated pretty good speed. Georgian teams, especially Dinamo Tbilisi, have always been skillful. There was a lot of scrimmage on the field, a lot of motion.
- In the first half your team switched from defense to attack pretty well. Are you satisfied with that?
- I’m partially satisfied. We made some mistakes that could result in dangerous counterattacks. To stay in possession we must switch from defense to attack using passes. We try to do that, but of course there are other options too.
- Before the training camp you said you want to see competition for each starting spot. Have you achieved that?
- Today we have competition in every position which is very good.
- Are Syrota and Romanchuk first team players already?
- Sure, why not?! So are Zabarnyi, Tsytaishvili and Vivcharenko.
