- I congratulate all Ukrainian fans on this win! We’re really thankful to them. This was my first game as assistant coach. It’s great to start new way with victory. We’ve tested youngsters and let experienced performers play.
- Was it easy to win?
- There are no easy wins. This game has given coaching staff a lot of useful information.
- Considering that you used to be a striker, what did our players lack to score more?
- I can comment upon that not as striker, but as assistant coach. Players really didn’t use some chances, especially in the first half. Maybe if we scored the second goal the game would have been easier for us. Late in the second half we let Cyprus create several chances.
