- What were you busy with when Dynamo were preparing for the game against the Bats in Cyprus?
- I decided to stay in Kyiv and to work with Dynamo-2 to stay fit.
- Did Valencia have psychological benefit in the second leg? Draw was a satisfactory result for them.
- We had nothing to lose as we lost the first leg by two goals to nil. Thus we had to take the field and enjoy the game. Anyway I think we lost the duel against Valencia in Cyprus.
- Dynamo played in Valencia much better than in Cyprus…
- Actually I didn’t like the way we played at Mestalla in the first half as we created few scoring chances. Both sides bewared of each other.
- Do you already know that four Ukrainian clubs have tumbled out of the Europa League?
- That’s a pity. Dnipro had a good chance to qualify for the next stage. Now we must focus on Ukrainian Premier League.
- Dynamo home match against FC Shakhtar Donetsk has been postponed. Is it good for your team?
- If there may be some problems with security it’s a right decision. On the other hand another pause won’t be useful for players.
- When will you join Ukraine national team camp?
- I guess that on March 3.
- The game against USA will take place in Cyprus. Aren’t you already tired of flights?
- That’s okay with me as I didn’t play against Valencia in Cyprus, but other performers must be tired. Of course we’d like to play in Ukraine to gladden our supporters.
- Yevhen Makarenko has got his first call-up to Ukraine national team. Have you congratulated him?
- Sure! Yevhen is demonstrating good play.
