For football fans, who are older than 45, such event is the one that took place on June 14 1982.
34 minutes into the World Cup match 68,000 spectators at Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan exclaimed with delight.
The fabulous goal was netted by FC Dynamo Kyiv player Andriy Bal, the only Soviet performer, who scored against Brazil at the Mundial.
Andriy Bal passed away recently, but the little wonder he created will stay in history forever!
“I took the field against Brazil and scored! I played as supporting midfielder and it was risky to try to elude opponents, so I unleashed a shot. We could win that game, but Spanish referee cancelled one goal and didn’t award fair penalty for our team. The following day local newspaper called him “Shame for Spain”, but of course that couldn’t change the final score – 1:2…”
Watch Andriy Bal’s spectacular goal once again. Two years ago he passed away, but he’s left a part of himself in memory of every football gourmet due to his play.
