Andriy YARMOLENKO: “Nothing has been lost”

- Andriy, was there another game this season, when Dynamo possession was so insignificant?

- I haven’t seen statistics yet. Of course it was wrong to let Fiorentina control the ball.

- You looked tired in the second half. How do you feel?

- It’s difficult to play when you have to defend constantly. The whole team moved a lot.

- Didn’t you plan to let Fiorentina control the ball?
-
We didn’t as we realized there would be full house at the stadium. We wanted to play aggressively, but on the other hand we had to remember about defense. I guess our carefulness has played a low-down trick with us.

- Have you ever faced players faster than Salah?
-
Mohamed is really fast player with good technical skills. It’s interesting to oppose such performers.

- Ihor Surkis has stated that nothing has been lost yet. Do you agree?

- Sure, nothing has been lost. Maybe it’s even better that we’ve conceded. Now we’ll have to play attacking football away.

- Is it bitter to concede in a stoppage time?

- It is, but that’s okay. That will teach us a lesson.

- What should you work on before the game in Florence?

- Personally I think we let Fiorentina control the ball too much. We should have applied more serious pressure on their half.
