- Did early opener influence the game?
- It’s always difficult to concede early in the game. We also scored, but referee decided there was a foul.
- You scored twice, but both times you were flagged offside. Do you have claims to officials?
- I’m not sure about the second episode as I haven’t seen it. As for the first episode, I can only say that wouldn’t have been a foul in England, for example. There were a lot of questionable situations in this game, but for some reason refereeing was one-sided. Still I don’t mean we’ve lost because of officials.
- Did you expect Shakhtar to play so defensively, especially in the second half?
- We made them play this way, but we didn’t create as many chances as we wanted.
- Did coach tell you to use so many crosses?
- When opponents defend you look for any opportunity to continue your attacks. We tried to use space we had, but didn’t do that effectively enough.
- Both sides played carefully unlike previous games. What’s the reason?
- Such games are unpredictable. To make matches more spectacular referees should let teams play.
- How will you find motivation for further games considering that Shakhtar have practically won the title?
- It’s not a secret they won it long ago, but we’ll have motivation as today a lot of fans came to support us. We’ll try to demonstrate spectacular football.
- What did team lack to equalize?
- We lacked a goal. Unfortunately we didn’t have chances. We controlled the game, but created few scoring opportunities.
- You had claims to Pantic…
- I didn’t. He just passed too late and our attack failed.
- You have freedom to act when Dynamo attack, but this time the team wasn’t creative enough…
- I’m not Totti to have freedom to act. I do what coaches tell me to. As for creativeness, you saw how many Shakhtar players defended.
- Is victory in the Ukrainian Cup Dynamo main goal at the moment?
- Dynamo must fight for all titles and perform in the Champions League worthily, but this season we should take things as they are and keep working to be stronger next year.
