After the match the majority of leading Ukrainian football media included the White-Blues right back Danilo Silva and right winger Andriy Yarmolenko into their all-star teams.
Danilo SILVA
UA-football.com (4th time in all-star team): “Danilo Silva totally controls the right flank. It’s much easier for Andriy Yarmolenko to play when Brazilian defender performs straight passes for him and works for defense. As the White-Blues opposed Volyn Silva made Shabanov foul against him and get second booking for that. He also saved his team when he didn’t let Shapoval shoot from good position”.
Matchday.ua: “Dynamo right back didn’t have much defensive work when Kyivans opposed Volyn though he saved his team a couple of times. Silva attacked much and helped Yarmolenko effectively”.
Andriy YARMOLENKO
UA-football.com (7th time in all-star team): “It’s absolutely clear that one particular player decided the game – Andriy Yarmolenko. The White-Blues winger scored two identical goals and tore Lutsk side defense apart. He also performed great assist for Oleh Husiev”.
Football.ua: “Volyn were in really bad shape, but the player that scored brace and got an assist to his name must be in the all-star team”.
Matchday.ua: “Volyn are going down a hole, but one mustn’t deemphasize Andriy Yarmolenko, who scored brace and performed an assist”.
Footboom.com: “As it often happens, Andriy Yarmolenko made the strongest contribution into the victory against FC Volyn Lutsk. He finished two attacks and performed spectacular assist for Oleh Husiev”.
