After the game he stated:
- It was a good match. We used almost all chances we had. It’s great we managed to score early opener. After that we got confident and hit the target again soon.
- You’ve scored spectacular goal from distance. How did you decide to shoot?
- We dispossessed Karpaty in the midfield, I obtained the ball and rushed forward. Two defenders opposed me. I saw my teammates, but there was no use passing as defenders wouldn’t have let them get the ball. There was a corridor and I decided to shoot. This goal has given me confidence. I dreamed of taking the field in my native team’s starting lineup. I’d like to thank coaches, who believe in me.
- It seems you have good mutual understanding with Pavlo Orikhovskyi…
- We do as this isn’t our first game together. On the other hand it’s vital to have mutual understanding with other teammates, who are more experienced. I learn a lot from them.
- Are you ready to perform in top level games regularly?
- Frankly speaking, I’ve been feeling I’m ready for a while. I was just waiting for a chance. It’s great to be here. I’ll keep working. I want to make headway and perform in the Champions League.
- Did Serhiy Rebrov tell you personally anything after the game?
- He congratulated the team on victory and me and Orikhovskyi – on our debut goals.
- Does absence of leading performers have serious impact on Dynamo play?
- It does. I guess if they took the field we would have played even better. We hope they’ll be back soon.
