Actually it’s a rescue for some people and social, educational and medical institutions.
In late 2016 FC Dynamo Kyiv forward Artem Kravets and his wife Hanna started massive charity auction. When featuring for Granada CF Artem didn’t forget about Ukraine. He got shirts of Real Madrid CF outstanding players, from Fernando Torres, Suarez, Neymar and the shirt signed by FC Barcelona performers. Kravets also offered his Ukraine national team shirt signed by all players and coaches including Andriy Shevchenko.
Anybody, who wanted to, could also make a donation to a bank card.
Artem and Hanna raised significant funds. They used the money to buy equipment for delivery department of the hospital located in Sokal (Lviv region). One of the sponsors, who purchased a shirt, decided to pay for wards maintenance. Now the delivery department has great modern equipment due to Hanna and Artem:
- ultrasonography machine;
- open resuscitation system;
- light treatment lamp;
- infant incubator;
- neonatal pulse oximeter;
- suction apparatus;
- 5 beds for babies;
- 3 baby changing tables with heating system;
- 3 mattresses with heating system;
As far as Sokal is the regional center, babies from all surrounding towns and villages are being born at the local hospital – 850 per year.
When Sokal football school trainees found out Dynamo and Ukraine national team famous striker Artem Kravets would arrive, they came to meet him.
A great surprise for Artem and Hanna was gratitude from family couple of Ruslan and Kateryna, whose son Olexiy was born a couple of days ago. They brought flowers and Artem even held the baby.
Eventually Artem and Hanna presented the department with the shirt with best wishes for mothers-to-be and their children on it.
