- We’ve won the group deservedly. In the last game we were more willing to succeed. Besides we were a bit lucky.
- Did you follow the game plan?
- We demonstrated our play, but Steaua are orderly team. They made us defend a lot. Fortunately we’ve won.
- What was the first part of the season like for Dynamo and for you in particular?
- Last six months were a success for Dynamo. We are domestic league leaders, besides we’ve qualified for the national cup and Europa League next stage. I hope we’ll work properly at training camps to keep this up. As for me, it all depends upon achievements of the team.
- You score regularly…
- Of course I want to play and score in every match. I do my best for that. We have ambitious goals and we’ll keep making headway.
- Steaua had a lot of chances, but only Dynamo scored. Does it speak for class of your team?
- I don’t think they had more chances than Dynamo. We also could score in the first half, particularly me. After the break we had more space and used counterattacks.
- Why didn’t you score this time?
- I didn’t score in this game, so I’ll score in the next one. I work on that. Anyway we’ve won, which is above all.
- What was going on in the locker-room after final whistle?
- Coaching staff congratulated us on victory and wished players good vacation. First of all we must come back home healthy.
- Whom would you like to face in following round?
- I haven’t seen our possible opponents yet. Personally I’d like to face Liverpool.
