- Of course we’re upset after defeat against Shakhtar. We really wanted to take the second place in league table. At the moment Dynamo, Zoria and Desna have equal number of points, so the battle is still ahead. We need to defeat Oleksandria and Zoria. That’s very important. I think we’ll be ready for these games.
- You faced Oleksandria twice in March. What do you think of those matches?
- Oleksandria are pretty good team. They demonstrate athletic football and use long balls.
- Kyrylo Kovalets is Oleksandria best striker. Does he cause defenders a lot of problems?
- He’s a good player, who scores quite a lot. We should be careful with him. I also like Vasyl Hrytsuk. I know some Oleksandria players in person.
- You scored against Oleksandria in March. Will you aim to do this again?
- I will. As I’m a centre back, my best opportunities are corners and free kicks.
- Three teams have equal number of points, so Dynamo don’t have a room for mistake. Does this fact cause psychological pressure?
- I don’t think it does. We all realize we need only victory. We’ll do our best and aim to win.
