Three FC Dynamo Kyiv performers took the field in this game – Andriy Yarmolenko, Yevhen Khacheridi and Serhiy Sydorchuk. Oleh Husiev and Roman Bezus stayed at the bench.
It was the 43rd cap for Andriy Yarmolenko. This time he got an assist to his name. It is his 12th achievement of the kind in matches for the Yellow-Blues. The same record belongs to Andriy Shevchenko and Andriy Voronin.
By the way, supporters have chosen Yarmolenko as the best player of the match and awarded him with special prize.
Yevhen Khacheridi has made his 27th appearance for the national team. Besides it was his third match after long pause caused by injury. In September he took the field in the Ukrainian Cup and Ukrainian Premier Reserve League.
Serhiy Sydorchuk made his debut for the national team in Borisov. He took the field 64 minutes into the match.
In a stoppage time Serhiy netted his first goal for Ukraine.
Sydorchuk is FC Dynamo Kyiv third representative, who’s managed to score for the Yellow-Blues in his debut game.
The other two are Andriy Yarmolenko and Roman Zozulia.
The match took place at the most up-to-date stadium of Belarus – Borisov Arena. 10,512 spectators were present at the arena with many of them from Ukraine.
Home side fans impressed visitors with Ukrainian national greetings. Our supporters responded in the same manner.
The national anthem of Ukraine sounded twice – traditionally before the match and late in the second half. It was also approved by local public.
