Benjamin Verbic: “We have three more finals left”

- This was the first time this season I started the game as forward. I knew I would have chances. I didn’t use one right after we conceded, but I knew I had to score and I did. Fortunately we equalized in the first half.

- Another goal of yours was cancelled unfairly…

- Shepelev scored that goal. I was offside, but he wasn’t. That’s what I told the officials.

- You were the first to take the penalty in the shootout. Were you feeling the pressure?

- I was, especially after Vorskla player hit the upper V. I thought I had to score too. I wanted to take the first shot as I was confident. And I did it well. I felt pain in my leg after that, but what matters is that I scored.

- This is your first Ukrainian Cup triumph with Dynamo. Does his matter to you a lot?

- Sure, I’ve added this trophy to two Super Cups. I joined Dynamo to be the best in Ukraine and win trophies. We’re really glad we’ve won. That means a lot to our supporters. First of all we’ve won for them.

- Anyway you’re still to fight for the Champions league spot…

- Sure, we have three more finals left – against Oleksandriya, Zoria and Kolos. All of them will be tough. We can’t celebrate as the next game is coming soon.
