- Benjamin, what was the key factor that helped you to defeat bitter rival again?
- I’m really glad we’ve defeated Shakhtar again. We defended confidently and used our chance. We’ve proved it will be difficult for any team to score against us.
- In the second half Dynamo attacked more. What task did Olexandr Khatskevych set for players during the break?
- He drew our attention to the way we acted in the midfield. We were supposed to be more aggressive. We fulfilled this task and dispossessed opponents to start counterattacks.
- Do you know how many headers you’ve already scored?
- I don’t, but I’m quite good at head playing (laughing). This is my third header for Dynamo.
- You had scoring chances in previous games, but didn’t use them. Did you have the aim to score you first goal of the season this time?
- I had a lot of chances in the game against FC Lviv. I was really mad with myself for not using them. Still if you work a lot you’ll have new chances.
- Did you like the atmosphere at the stadium?
- It was great! That was the first time I played in front of so many fans at the NSC Olimpiyskyi. It’s awesome when almost 50 thousand people cheer you. Our supporters have made their contribution into victory against Shakhtar.
- This game has proved that Olexandr Khatskevych knows how to beat Shakhtar and, what’s even more important, has players to embody his vision…
- I’m happy to feel the trust of head coach. They invited me to Dynamo to create chances. We worked a lot to achieve positive results. Our key to success is teamwork. Every player is ready to fight for the rest and to do his best on the field.
- How many goals do you plan to score this season?
- (smiling) I don’t think I should guess at the future. Last season I made a bet with journalists and lost it. I’ll do my best and I think I’ll score many goals.
- Do you feel you’re becoming one of Dynamo leaders?
- It’s great to hear positive feedback about my performances, but we have very good players in every position. Each of them can be called a leader.
-Are you ready to go to Czech Republic and face SK Slavia Prague?
- We have no time for celebrations, but we’ve got used to such schedule. Tomorrow we’ll start preparations for the game in Prague.
