On April 26, FC Dynamo Kyiv played another game of Match for Peace! Stop the War! tour – against Borussia Dortmund at the biggest stadium in Germany – Signal Iduna Park.
35 thousand people attended the match while tickets sales and charity donations raised 400 thousand euro for humanitarian needs of Ukraine.
These funds will help to meet the needs of Ukrainian refugees, who had to leave their home because of the russian aggression, and to provide them with medicines and essential goods.
The match in Dortmund aroused incredible interest of world media, including BBC company.

Betty Glover: It’s been over two months since russia started full-scale invasion into Ukraine. We’re here, in Germany, as FC Dynamo Kyiv continue their charity tour for peace. The funds raised will help victims of this war. We’ve talked to some players with different stories.
Denys Boiko: I was at home with my family as the war broke off. My wife, my son and my parents were with me, so I did everything I could to keep them safe. Then our team left Ukraine to participate in charity matches all over Europe.
Betty Glover: How important is the charity tour Dynamo are having?
Denys Boiko: These are very important matches. First of all – for our country.

Betty Glover: You play for Borussia against your native club – Dynamo Kyiv. How important is it to you, considering that this match can help your country?
Alan Aussi: I think it’s a dream of every kid – to put on the jersey of this club. I’m very thankful for being treated so good here. I’ve got a huge chance and I think it has already changed my life.

Many people need help as significant destructions are happening in our country. We’re very thankful for help. Every day we pray for Ukraine and hope everything will be fine.
