As for squad rotation comparing to Europa League game against Bordeaux – Danilo Silva played as centre back instead of Taras Mykhalyk and Oleh Husiev substituted Roman Bezus.
It should be mentioned that our skipper Olexandr Shovkovskyi took the field again.
In the first half both sides were very active. Brown Ideye didn’t manage to score in one on one situation.
Russian side had the same goal-scoring opportunity but Shovkovskyi cleared Ignatyev’s shot off.
Several minutes after the break Ignatyev hit the bar from direct free kick…
After that Andriy Yarmolenko had a great chance to open the score but his shot from the goal area went over the bar…
As for Olexandr Shovkovskyi – our goalkeeper played confidently and saved his team several times. Welcome back, skipper!
