The White-Blues previous game against FC Karpaty Lviv was a kind of demonstration of their team-work improvement.
This time Andriy Yarmolenko wasn’t among first eleven. Jeremain Lens took his place. Brown Ideye played instead of Dieumerci Mbokani, who has picked up an injury.
Game aspects
Several Donetsk side first team regulars didn’t take the field, but young performers looked very well. Special attention should be paid to midfielder Bolbat.
25 minutes into the match referee awarded penalty for Dynamo and Oleh Husiev opened the score.
Right after the break Metalurh scored an equalizer. Zotov put a low cross into Dynamo penalty area and Moroziuk netted the ball.
Ten minutes later Brown Ideye assisted Andriy Yarmolenko, who slotted his team ahead again. 63 minutes into the match Nigerian striker got another assist to his name and Ukrainian winger scored his second goal of the game!
In a couple of minutes Bolbat obtained the ball inside the box and made the score 3:2.
Never the less Kyivans are through to the round of 16.

Dynamo third goal turned out to be a decider. Andriy Yarmolenko hit the target after the heel pass from Brown Ideye.
