Danilo SILVA: “I became a father in Ukraine!”

Danilo SILVA: “I became a father in Ukraine!”

- Were you beside your wife when delivery started?
-
Of course (laughing)! I was a bit nervous, but I encouraged Bruna, talked to her and tried to calm her down. I took her to the hospital and on September 24 the happiest event of my life happened. Our son is healthy and he feels good.

- What name did you choose for him?

- Davi. With one “d”. It’s a biblical name. We had several variants and eventually chose this one.

- What are your first impressions of being a father?
-
There are a lot of different emotions! When I took my son in my arms it was the best moment of my life. When he started crying I started too! That was something incredible.

- You’ve adapted to life in Ukraine really well. You speak the local language. What about your wife?

- I understand the language, but I can’t speak it really well. The same can be said about Bruna. She talks mostly to our babysitter, doctors and massage therapist. When she can’t explain something I help her.
