- Every opponent in the Europa League is a decent team. Rennais played at home, so no wonder they attacked. They play strength football and pay much attention to set pieces. They also shoot from distance a lot. I’d like to congratulate our team on this important victory. I also want to thank guys as in the first half I made a mistake, but they didn’t give up and managed to win.
- Before the game you said it’s very important to win to get rid of the emotional pressure. Have you?
- It’s hard to say. We were supposed to win two previous games, but played in a draw. This time we won although I don’t think many people believed in us. The atmosphere in the locker-room is really good.
- Was it difficult to play without Viktor Tsyhankov?
- Viktor is our leader, but we have really good team. There’re players able to replace him when necessary. For example, today Sidcley took the field and did a good job.
