1. Victory makes Dynamo second before winter break
It wasn’t just a game against a good orderly team. It was a game that defined Dynamo position in league table before the winter break.
After exhausting match against FC Lugano (from psychological point of view first of all), our team managed to demonstrate decent defense, create some good chances and win.
After this victory, Dynamo take the second place in UPL table with FC Zoria Luhansk lacking 2 points behind.
2. Viktor Tsyhankov becomes Dynamo best striker in the first part of the season
Before this game, Viktor Tsyhankov, Benjamin Verbic and Artem Besedin had 8 goals each in all competitions.
Tsyhankov used his opportunity in the first half, so now he has 9 goals to his name.
Verbic could also have 9, but didn’t convert from the spot in a stoppage time.
3. Injuries continue
Intense schedule reminded of itself in Chernihiv. Denys Popov and Vitaliy Buialskyi got injured which made coach substitute them.
Artem Besedin didn’t come to Chernihiv due to health problems. Mykyta Burda has been injured for a while now. Unfortunately this season injuries are on the track of many first team regulars.
4. Milestone game of Vitaliy Buialskyi
Dynamo midfielder Vitaliy Buialskyi has made his 180th appearance for the team and 200th on the club level in general.
