Almost every player of our team has been praised by journalists: Danilo Silva, Yevhen Khacheridi, Domagoj Vida, Serhiy Rybalka, Serhiy Sydorchuk, Younes Belhanda, Jeremain Lens, Andriy Yarmolenko and Artem Kravets. Besides one of the web sites has chosen Serhiy Rebrov as “matchday coach”.
Football club has gathered the biggest number of Dynamo representatives in all-star team – six players and head coach.
Danilo SILVA (2nd time in all-star team)
“Considering that Yevhen Khacheridi returned to the main squad and Domagoj Vida had to play as left back Danilo Silva featured as right lateral. Brazilian defender actually didn’t let Yevhen Konoplianka create anything and thus Andriy Yarmolenko could focus on attack”.
Yevhen KHACHERIDI (1st time in all-star team)
“Khacheridi demonstrates worthy play after recovery both in Dynamo and national team. Of course he made some mistakes, but in general Yevhen coped with Nikola Kalinić and Yevhen Selezniov”.
Serhiy SYDORCHUK (2nd time in all-star team)
“Young midfielder looked a bit tired, but still fulfilled a great amount of work from box to box. He performed probably the most important “save” of the game as he didn’t let the ball cross Dynamo goal line when the score was 0:1. Sydorchuk played confidently for defense and created chances”.
Andriy YARMOLENKO (6th time in all-star team)
“Taking into account international matches Andriy couldn’t score in six matches in a row, but the game in Dnipropetrovsk proved that he is still Dynamo leader and key player. He managed to hit the target and took part in every goal netted by the White-Blues”.
Jeremain LENS (3rd time in all-star team)
“Activeness of Dutch player didn’t let Dnipro right back Artem Fedetskyi join attacks. Lens has proved once again that he is in great conditions. He acted quickly and wisely. He used his chance after cross from Younes Belhanda and also found Yarmolenko with a great pass, after which Andriy doubled the score”.
Artem KRAVETS (3rd time in all-star team)
“Maybe he wasn’t as noticeable as other attacking players, but still his contribution into Dynamo success is strong. Artem didn’t let Dnipro defenders relax. As a result they made a lot of mistakes. Late in the second half he finished great counterattack”.
Coach – Serhiy REBROV (3rd time in all-star team)
“FC Metalurh Donetsk head coach Volodymyr Piatenko was the top manager of our all-star team after historical victory against FC Shakhtar Donetsk, but then Rebrov excelled him just like Dynamo excelled Dnipro in standings and came out on top after long break”.
UA-football.com web portal has included four Dynamo players into the UPL matchday 11 all-star team – defenders Yevhen Khacheridi and Danilo Silva and wingers Andriy Yarmolenko and Jeremain Lens.
Yevhen Khacheridi (1st time in all-star team)
“Kyivans’ defender, who’s reconditioning after injury, had to oppose all three Dnipro forwards. In the first half Zozulia and Selezniov tried to create chances and after the break Kalinić took the field. It’s the desert of Yevhen that no one of them managed to demonstrate best qualities”.
Danilo Silva (2nd time in all-star team)
“Dynamo Brazilian defender is in great conditions. Dnipro couldn’t cope with the White-Blues #2. Danilo worked for defense and started Kyivans’ attacks including well-placed crosses into the box”.
Andriy Yarmolenko (5th time in all-star team)
“Once again Yarmolenko proved that he is the engine of the team. In the matchday top game Andriy took part in the majority of Kyivans’ combinations and tried to help defenders. He has great vision of the pitch often finding teammates with straight passes, one of which resulted in goal Kravets netted in one-on-one situation. Yarmolenko also played effectively in Dnipro box and scored his sixth goal of the season in the UPL”.
Jeremain Lens (1st time in all-star team)
“Jeremain Lens played as left winger against Dnipro, but Dnipropetrovsk side let him recall that he often features as finisher in the national team. As a true striker Lens netted the first goal of the game. Jeremain also assisted Yarmolenko, when Andriy doubled the score”.
Football.ua web site has also paid special attention to four Dynamo performers.
Domagoj Vida
“It was a very good game for Croatian versatile defender. Dnipro didn’t create a lot of chances moving through his flank.
Interesting fact. Vida succeeded in scrimmage 15 times (75%)”.
Yevhen Khacheridi
“Dnipro created few chances due to Khacheridi, who’s proved that he is Dynamo first team regular despite injury and long period of rehabilitation.
Interesting fact. Khacheridi participated in 31 Dynamo attacks”.
Andriy Yarmolenko
“Speaking about effectiveness it wasn’t the best match for Yarmolenko, but he participated in every goal Dynamo scored.
Interesting fact. Only 55% of all actions performed by Yarmolenko were a success”.
Jeremain Lens
“Lens scored himself and assisted Yarmolenko after that. It is a good achievement.
Interesting fact. Lens has already reached his record according to goal+assist system (7 points) he set last season”.
Matchday.ua all-star team looks a bit different. It includes Serhiy Rybalka and Younes Belhanda.
Domagoj Vida
“Do you remember how Artem Fedetskyi and Bruno Gama played against Dynamo? If you don’t, that’s the desert of Domagoj Vida, who featured as left back”.
Yevhen Khacheridi
“Khacheridi was another example of confidence in the match against Dnipro. Yevhen play almost faultlessly”.
Serhiy Rybalka
“Dynamo halfback became the hero of “battle in the midfield”. Rybalka’s confident and aggressive play didn’t let Dnipro feel free in this zone”.

“Younes didn’t help defenders a lot, but as for Dynamo attacks, Moroccan halfback was one of key players”.
Andriy Yarmolenko
“The White-Blues winger fulfilled a great amount of work. Together with Danilo Silva Andriy didn’t let Konoplianka and Strinić feel comfortable. He also scored and got an assist to his name”.
