Dynamo: one for all and all for one
The first round of Dynamo battle against Guingamp was very dramatic. Very doubtful decisions of match officials are still being discussed.
Anyway that’s not the only problem that game caused. In Kyiv the White-Blues can’t count on suspended Andriy Yarmolenko and Younes Belhanda and injured Serhiy Sydorchuk.
It’s not clear whether Jeremain Lens will take the field, but Dutch winger is willing to play.
This week Serhiy Rebrov’s men have one training session a day. It’s obvious that the White-Blues don’t have problems with physical conditions as they managed to save quite satisfactory score in France lacking two performers. Away goal is of great importance, but still Dynamo must win in Kyiv.
“We have a chance to change the situation for better and time to get ready for the game.
Our performers must stay cold-blooded. They shouldn’t rush forward to flatten the opponent at once. On the other hand I think Guingamp players didn’t behave worthy in France, so they must be punished for that. It’s all in our hands” – stated Serhiy Rebrov.
On Monday our team had a training session at the NSC Olimpiyskyi. Players worked with enthusiasm at home arena.
“We need our 12th player on February 26. I hope you’ll come to the NSC Olimpiyskyi and support us!” – addressed our captain Olexandr Shovkovskyi to fans.
Guingamp: Europa League above all
After the first game against Dynamo Jocelyn Gourvennec’s men played domestic league fixture.
The head coach made five substitutions in the starting lineup comparing with the Europa League match and Guingamp lost against Montpellier HSC (0:2), who also lay claims on euro cups zone this season.
Still Gourvennec has clearly demonstrated that priority of his team is the Europa League.
His players are going to achieve positive result by all means. After the round of 32 drawing French side president Bertrand Desplat said: “We need magic potion to outplay Dynamo”. It seems that not his team, but Slovenian officials, who refereed Guingamp home match against Dynamo, got this potion. We hope that won’t be the case in Kyiv.
