The goal of the new project is to create modern convenient loyalty program for supporters and to give them opportunity to benefit from special offers and participate in different pr-events. After the launch of the program people will be able both to purchase and earn digital tokens.
One can earn tokens by being active on Dynamo pages in social networks, participating in different pollings and challenges. Having these tokens people can purchase exclusive goods, get access to sky boxes, attend meetings with players etc.
Barcelona, Juventus, PSG, Atletico Madrid, Roma, Galatasaray… These famous clubs also have tokenization experience. Dynamo are going to join them and thus become the first Ukrainian sports club to launch fan-tokens on blockchain platform.

FC Dynamo Kyiv have formed special innovations department that will be dealing with tokenization case. The head of this department is well-known Ukrainian-American businessman, ideologist of blockchain technology Mark Ginzburg.
On January 28 presentation of the project took place at the Valeriy Lobanovskyi Stadium conference hall.

- Dynamo president Ihor Surkis is doing his best to make different aspects of club activities modern, interesting and effective. Thus we started our work on the tokenization project.
These days we sell about 70% of tickets to our matches online, so one doesn’t need paper tickets. That’s how innovations become part of our life and help us move on. Anyway, today we present something more interesting.

- Since 2018 many clubs have been turning tokenization into reality. It’s a kind of ecosystem which is important for every club. We followed the process, analyzed data, had discussions and got offers. American company Moonwalk offered very interesting solution for our club. So, it’s quite natural that blockchain has come to football. This game unites 3,5 billion fans on all continents. FC Dynamo Kyiv will be the first club in Eastern Europe to launch tokenization. We’ve gathered a team of team of professionals to benefit innovational process in Dynamo.

- I’ll explain why I see great potential of this project for FC Dynamo Kyiv and Ukraine in general. Dynamo aren’t the first club to use tokenization, but Ukraine has a peculiarity – our legislation. Clubs that have already produced tokens are based in counties that don’t have special legislation yet. There’re countries, where such legislation already exists, but where they don’t have such clubs as Dynamo. Both of these factors are present in Ukraine, so we think we can make our program even more far-reaching and fancy.
As far as the law of Ukraine about virtual assets has been through only the first reading so far, tokens will mostly resemble the loyalty program for fans. The adoption of the abovementioned law will give more opportunities. Ukraine has a chance to demonstrate incredible project on international arena as we have such club as Dynamo.

We believe that key factors of success for Ukraine are innovations and digitalization. These are tools that offer us revolutionary development path. Ukraine is the first country in the world that has launched digital passports. These days over 3 million of Ukrainians have such passports in their smartphones and use them.
As Dynamo fan, I’m pleased that the top football club of Ukraine makes very courageous innovational step. I’m sure this step will make interactions of the club with supporters more modern. Nowadays digital technologies change all aspects of our life. That’s why such projects are extremely important and we totally support them. I wish Dynamo success both in this area and on the field.

- I was very pleased to find out Dynamo launch their token. It’s a good start. The Ministry of digital transformation of Ukraine and the Parliament work as a team these days. We can’t do everything at once, so Ukraine should focus on certain interesting growth opportunities. Virtual assets are something new for the world, but soon this will be our reality.
From legal point of view, tokenization lets people simplify different kinds of relations. So far the legislation is being developed and Dynamo have time to work on their ecosystem.
