It took Dynamo some time to feel the game and find enough space in visitors’ defense. 25 minutes into the match Tsyhankov could open the score, but hit the bar. In a minute Khudzhamov parried a good shot by Andriyevskyi. Dynamo kept creating chances and 33 minutes into the first half hit the target. Carlos de Pena scored spectacular goal after cross from the corner flag. That’s his first goal for Dynamo.
In the second half Dynamo kept dominating and only Khudzhamov didn’t let Mariupol suffer lopsided defeat. Anyway, 87 minutes into the match Tsyhankov hit the far corner from outside the box – 2:0.
In a stoppage time visitors pulled one back. So, it’s 2:1 for Dynamo.
