Dynamo Diogo Rincón has joined Brazil’s Corinthians on a one year loan deal. Over his five-and-half year spell with Dynamo, attacking midfielder became a three-time Ukrainian champion and 4-time domestic Cup holder as well as scored some important goals in European Cups.
On the eve of his departure to São Paulo, the player talked to fcdynamo.kiev.ua to say farewell to his Kyiv fans:
“After so many years with Dynamo, the decision to change the club was a tough one. It is here, in Ukraine, that I have grown as a footballer. My new club does not have the Dynamo-size fame and was relegated this season, but I hope it will be a useful move.
“Which are the best games that I played? Although it may sound strange, those are not Champions League matches. The encounters I enjoyed most were ones vs. Dynamo’s archrival Shakhtar.
“I am grateful to all Dynamo fans, which have been supportive all the time. I have always felt their warm attitude. This was very helpful, especially in the first years”.
