The encounter vs. Ireland’s vice-champions St. Patrick has become a good ordeal for Dynamo reserves.
The game saw a lot of fighting. Dangerous moments were scarce for either team in the first half, with Shatskikh having come closest to scoring. In the 37th minute, after 1v1 battle, the Uzbek international lobbed the ball over the goalkeeper only for it to hit the post and to rebound into the goalie’s hands.
The Irish did defensively well to slightly compensate the shortage of attacking action.
Upon the break time, Yuriy Semin introduced some substitutions, and it did not take much time for one of them to work. After receiving a pass on the edge of the box, Kravets deceived the defender and superbly nailed the game’s only goal to give the White-Blues a lead on 52 minutes.
