Norwegian referee Espen Berntsen has been appointed to officiate the UEFA Europa League group stage match between Dynamo Kyiv and AZ Alkmaar in Kyiv on Thursday.
The 43-year-old Espen referee debuted as a referee in 1990, Tippeligaen-official in 1997 and received his FIFA badge in 2002.
His fellow countrymen Dag-Roger Nebben and Odd-Jarle Larsen will act as assistant referees while Tommy Skjerven and Dag Vidar Hafsas will help the referee behind the goal line. The fourth official will be Tom Harald Hagen, also from Norway.
Their work will be assessed by UEFA referee observer Kay Ostergaard (Denmark).
