The UEFA Referees Committee today announced the referee for the Matchday 4 fixture of the 2009/2010 UEFA Champions League group stage between FC Dynamo Kyiv and FC Internazionale Milano to be played at the Lobanovskyy Dynamo stadium on Wednesday 4 November, kicking-off at 21.45 local time (20.45 CET).
The match will be officiated by 44-year-old Frenchman Bertrand Layec, who has been an international referee since 2002. Layec took up refereeing at the age of 16 and is now regarded as one of the best referees in France. In Kyiv, his assistants will be his countrymen Michael Annonier and David Benech, with Damien Ledentu acting as fourth official.
Harry M. Been of Netherlands and Evzen Amler of Czech Republic will act as UEFA delegate and referee observer, respectively.
