Dynamo Kyiv keep on spreading some cheer

Dynamo Kyiv keep on spreading some cheer on the holidays’ eve as the club president continues holding a traditional New Year charity campaign. After the recent visit together with Yuriy Pavlenko, Ukraine's Minister for Sport, Youth and Family, to children’s home №14, Ihor Surkis expressed the willingness to brighten up the festive period of the children with hearing loss and hearing impairment. On Wednesday, December 24, Mr. Surkis paid a visit to boarding-school № 18 and presented their football team with football playing kits and associated equipment. None of the kids lacked attention as everyone received individual presents from FC Dynamo Kyiv.

- We want our football club to be supported and loved. That is why we are aiming to bring some happiness to the people – explained Ihor Surkis. - Football is not only for millionaires. Our mission is to help children with limited capabilities and get their message out to the wider audience. We would like to popularize football among them. It will be our contribution and an important help to them. Besides, I’m ready to donate money for purchasing hearing instruments and provide these children with necessary apparatus.

I’d also like to point out that we are not going to stop this serious work as too many children await for our help. When the team is back from vacation, we will visit more schools together. Our goal is to show that Dynamo Kyiv is not only a football club. It’s a real social project which aims to make a contribution to society.
