Dynamo Kyiv suffered their first derby defeat in the Ukrainian Championship history as they were beaten 2-0 by capital rivals FC Obolon this afternoon.
Oleh Luzhnyy has made three changes to his starting eleven with Andriy Shevchenko, Miloš Ninković and Ayila Yussuf coming in for Artem Milevskyy, Andriy Yarmolenko and Taras Mykhalyk.
The White-Blues had gone into the match with Obolon on the back of a superb Matchday 15 victory against FC Illichivets Mariupol in the Premier league and a 2-0 success over Europa League Group E rivals AZ Alkmaar but an early goal from Obolon’s centre half Pavlo Khudzik, plus a 62nd minute strike from Serhiy Sibiryakov put an end to their winning streak and gave the Brewers all three points.
