Dynamo – Obolon – 4:0. Match report

Nigerian striker Brown Ideye grabbed his second brace for Dynamo Kyiv as Yuriy Semin’s men beat capital rivals FC Obolon 4-0 at the Valeriy Lobanovskyy stadium on Friday.

Serhiy Kovalets’ men once again proved to be very awkward opponents, forcing our team to wait until the final quarter of the match to break the deadlock. Roman Eremenko delivered a left-wing free-kick into the Obolon area and Brown, having evaded the offside trap, headed the ball in.

Ten minutes later the White-Blues scored another, almost identical, goal, when Roman Eremenko’s another top-class free-kick from the left was headed into the net by Yevhen Khacheridi. Two further goals were scored with a help of Andriy Yarmolenko. The forward presented Brown Ideye with a chance to secure his second brace for Dynamo six minutes from time before providing Oleh Husyev with his second goal of the season in stoppage time.
