Brazilian midfielder Diogo Rincón has returned to Dynamo after a one-year break. Now Diogo trains at the Koncha-Zaspa training centre and hopes to be with the rest of the team at their mid-season training camp in Spain.
- I'm really eager to play in Dynamo again and to achieve great results, - said Diogo. – My aim is to adjust as soon as possible and to become a regular member of the first-team squad, even though it won't be easy. At the moment, the most important for me is to get my form back. Besides, I have to lose weight as my ideal weight is 86kg. I hope to maintain it within the next few weeks.
In June I had an operation on my right knee in Brazil. After the surgery, I had been out of action for six months. Now everything is ok. I feel like I can work in the group, but Yuriy Semin wants me to complete my individual programme. Despite of injuries, I had some positive moments last year. I played regularly for Corinthians in the São Paulo State Championship and Brazilian Cup. I think I made the right decision to move to Brazil as I had some mental problems. I felt that I needed a change.
Finally, though, those problems seem to be behind me. I’d like to continue my career in Kyiv and to earn a place in Dynamo’s first squad.
