Dynamo’s UEFA Champions League Group G rivals have played their domestic league matches. Both Arsenal FC and Fenerbahçe celebrated victories over their opponents. As for FC Porto, the Portuguese club finished their league game scoreless.
Fenerbahçe – Genclerbirligi – 3:0

Despite the absence of several first-team players (Edu Dracena, Semih Sentürk, Deivid de Souza and Gökcek Vederson missed the match through injuries), the Turkish club managed to overcome Genclerbirligi SK with a decisive 0-3 victory. The goals came from Alex de Souza, Daniel Güiza and Kazim.
It is well known that Dynamo Kyiv will play their next UEFA Champions League Group G tie against Fenerbahçe. The away match will take place on 30 September at Istanbul's Şükrü Saracoğlu Stadium.

The Portuguese League match between FC Porto and Rio Ave ended in a goalless draw. The Dragons have had many good chances to put the Porto’s dominance in practice, but failed to change the pattern of the game.

Following the 1-1 draw in Kyiv, Arsène Wenger’s team gained a 1-3 victory over Bolton Wanderers FC at the Reebok Stadium on Saturday. After conceding the goal, Arsenal took control of the game and started to create chances. The visitors levelled the score and took the lead through Eboue and Bendtner within 90 seconds. The goal from Denilson ensured Arsenal’s victory four minutes from the end.
